Yup, the new name/trailer crawl was added for the special editions.

However, in those versions Han shot second. So I'm not sure they count :->

*snerk* I actually forgot about the re-release.

I think mainly because I am still angry about all the remastering/monkeying around.

Actually it was retitled "Epidode IV: a New Hope" waaay before that. Every time it appeared in the cinemas, on video or on the TV *after* the 1977 run it was called Episode IV: A New Hope.

We're both wrong. The releases in 78 and 79 (before Empire came out) had the original crawl. The 81,82 and 97 releases had the updated one.
