Well apparently I voted that guy 4 stars for personality at some point when I actually went on okc {that was before I started getting messages from men asking me to send them my socks- seriously, that actually happened. I didn't send them any though. But everyone has their price.}! But y'know, 39 is officially old enough to be my father, technically. Which is kind of wrong, really.

I'm really curious to see where people cap off the Too Old mark :)

I don't have any problem with age gaps whatsoever but I do know that not having shared experiences can be difficult in both directions.

My mum and her partner have an age gap of 15 years-ish but I relate to them being the same age.

How much were they gonna give you for your socks??? *plots to become a sock thief!*

I don't know. Age gaps in general don't bother me, and I've never really been interested in people my own age. Lack of shared experiences certainly don't bother me- there's always *something* you can relate to, even if you maybe didn't watch the same TV shows growing up!
But old enough to be have been an adult when I was born is Too Old for me, at least at the age I'm at. Then again I've not met any 40 year olds I have a crush on, maybe if I did I'd change my mind!

And they didn't offer me any money :(

Based on that profile I'd not be interested in that guy - I have little overlap in the reading, and that's about the only bit I can believe. He starts by talking rubbish, then admits he's talking rubbish, and follows it with a claim that seems equally untrue. The bit about his first novel is interesting, but who writes about their novel without giving any hint of vaguely what it's about? Nah, way to sketchy to bother to follow up. So what in there interests you such that you'd consider dating him?

Atmosphere. He comes across to me as somone smart, interesting and with a sense of humour.

Of course, there's not a lot there, but what there is is enough to interest me.
