I'm going to be posting any thoughts about work in "friends only" mode from now on. This then prevents any info from appearing on the 'public web', because I don't want to get in trouble and I don't want to cause problems.

If you want to read these posts and you don't have an LJ account, then let me know and I can either email stuff to you, or maybe you can have my one remaining invite code :->

Sounds sensible. I didnt' know you could set permissions on individual posts - I must look it up.

Not only that, but you can put friends into groups and then allow selective access to just those groups.

And you can also read just those groups, so I have news feeds as one group and people as a second group and comics as a third group. I also have "people I don't know" as a group, so I can post things that won't get back to my personal friends. I haven't actually used that one though. It's just there in case I feel the need.
