Warren Buffet visiting Offutt AFB is nothing out of the ordinary. The d00d lives in Omaha, Nebraska, and is an honored guest at the local Air Farce Base nearby. >_> The flying White House is indeed kept at Offutt, it's an especially customized 747 Boeing jet. Offutt used to be the home of Headquarters SAC (Strategic Air Command) and now houses the inter-service Strategic Command; both of which I worked for.

I wondered at the time, this thing happened (and to be fair when a friend phoned and told me I didn't believe him because it was a ridiculous notion),

and basically an hour or so later the news was full of "it was this guy he did it"
