Date: 2008-01-24 12:13 am (UTC)My guess is that the contestants have to answer an extremely long and detailed response sheet that gives the show the ammo they need. If they contradict what was given as the assumed truth in the response sheet, boom, they're lying.
Of course, it may be more interesting to look at this show as an expression of how to manipulate the truth, rather than tell it. Perception rules all.
