You would not believe how much of a pain it was to take the video and turn it through 90 degrees. Had to take it from mp4 format, use Super to convert it to WMV, and then use Wimdows Movie Maker to rotate it. The tricky bit being working out that that was what was necessary in the first place.

Still, now I've got the toolchain down pat, you can expect more videos to follow...

mencoder -vf rotate, for future reference.

Spent half an hour playing with mencoder. When I got to the stage that it wanted me to specify bitrate, pass or quantizer settings I gave up and went back to the nice application that only wants me to drag a file on and choose the output type.

Could you not just in future rotate your phone by 90 degrees when filming video? Thuis saving you the toolchain?

That's pretty much insanely cute. I love the way cats can just as suddenly go from being mental and chasing their tail to licking themselves and pretending nothing happened and then going mental again. My 11 year old cat still does it, stupid thing. I miss my cats!
