Video sharing advice

What's a good site to put videos on where they can't be searched for? I want to share a few videos with people, but don't want random strangers coming across them...

You still need a player to embed into a webpage though, don't you?

Do you need people to be able to play it? Why can't they just download it?

I'd rather have a player, to be honest. Makes playing a whole series in situ easier.
