Please note that "New Users near Edinburgh" does not include Nottingham, Birmingham or London.

I'd much rather be told "Sorry, everyone within a thirty mile radius of you has already ticked the 'Would rather eat own leg.' box and there is nobody there for you." than be told there are new people, but that they are very far away.

When my Dad was in Canada, the natives he was staying with thought nothing of a three to four hour drive just to go out for an evening meal. Perhaps OKCupid uses that sort of notion of distance
