:-) Funny, beetroot doesn't have that effect on me. I must break the pigment down somehow (mutant that I am).

IIRC, the pigment that makes beetroot purply red is a different one to that which makes most other veg/fruit purlply red...

Wait, beetroot has that effect? Seriously? This could explain some confusion I was having. Is it the actual beetroot, or the vinegar, or what? Or should I just Google it? :)

it's the pigment. It comes through in most folk's urine and stool, making it red-tinged.
