You're in that country of the Angles, that south-of-Watford-Gap place?

South of the Watford Gap is London and the posh bit. North of Watford Gap is Scotland. I know my geography ;-)

I've been toying with the idea of creating a community where people can post stupid things that the media say about Scotland, and the best name I have so far is northwatfordgap. :)

The Scottish media say an awful lot of stupid things about England.

See, because you're saying "guess. go on guess" I figure it's a trick question, and you're REALLY at the half-size Stonehenge replica in Oregon in the US.

What did you think of it? I thought Avebury was far more spiritually moving. Stonehenge just felt dead.

I've had years of people telling me "oh Stonehenge is no good, go to Avebury instead" (which I did/had) so when i finally did get to SH I actualy found it pretty impressive. But then I go more for the spectacle/history than the spirituality.
