I'm about to watch Doctor Who, how could I not be satisfied?

Tomorrow I probably won't be.

If I had a girlfriend I would be.

For far too many reasons to detail. Though sticking with the theme, Doctor Who did at least distract me for a time :)

I wasn't aware that happy satisfied-with-life people used livejournal

Death is the part I find unsatisfactory. That and post-stag night hangovers.

I believe that life is what you make it.

If you arent happy with a situation, change it. If you cant change it now, put the plans in action to do so.

My little personal theory on depression is the dissatisfaction with one's current place, combined with lack on insight and belief that the current place can be changed. I know this wont apply to everyone.

I don't know.

I've got things pretty good. And yet, if I start thinking about it, I generally feel dissatisfied. But I don't know what would make me feel otherwise.

Oh god, the kitten. Dang if that mewing sound doesn't produce a primal response of, "Go help the poor little thing!!"

There's loads of room for improvement, but overall I think it's pretty good. So I'm not sure I'm fully "satisfied" but definitely moreso than dissatisfied.

Oy - voted while logged in as Don [livejournal.com profile] ghostsmut by mistake, and I don't think you can sort of unvote, so just so you know that was me.
I don't think I understand the question... I'm pretty (or usually, very) satisfied with my life, but not so much with Life on Earth and the state of the planet in general. Or, then, sometimes I am, or try to be, and can't really decide. I like to read things like this good article by Steve Pinker (who is one of my personal 'reasons to be cheerful', as all-round good egg) about violence, and that sort of thing makes me think I'd quite like to align myself with the 'life: generally rather good' crew. I suppose it's the way I was brought up, too - to appreciate nice things, and perhaps to not dwell on the less nice, at least not ones you can't hope to change. But I wouldn't want to be too unequivocal.
