Ed's birthday this evening, so we headed off to the Indigo Yard for a few drinks, found it entirely crowded with people in suits celebrating an early start to Easter weekend and instantly decamped to Wannaburger for delicious food instead.

Then back to Padmini's for mandarin vodka and present opening. Ed's been on a Buster Keaton kick recently, so me, Jen, Erin and Suze clubbed together and got him an 8mm print of The General (his civil war movie) and an 8mm projector to watch it on. He was rather flabbergasted, which was the perfect reaction.

And now home, packing for Eastercon. Well, posting to LJ and avoiding packing, but close enough.
