I've been somewhat amazed not to bump into more links to this study of happiness on LJ, linking moods to keywords, times of day and days of the week.

Their recipe for happiness seems pretty likely. I must give it a go later :->

This chart shows the happiness factor in a day and for each day of the week, measured by looking at the distribution of the most popular "happy" words ("yay", "shopping", "awesome", "birthday", "lovely", "concert", etc.)

Is it just me that thinks "shopping" is in no way a happy word? Yes, I accept that they've proved more people go shopping on a Saturday or Sunday, but not that they're happy doing it!
