andrewduckerA long time ago there was a piece of software called Firefly. It allowed you to rate all your music and would then recommend more music to you by comparing your tastes to other peoples. Sadly, this software went straight from beta to nowhere and it never got a large enough user base to make it that good at recommendations.
Today I discovered Rate Your Music which promises to much the same thing. It also has only a few users so far, but I'm hoping that with enough time it'll be able to fill that gap and lead me to more albums that I really want to listen to.
It's either that or rely on the recommendations of Nick and Saint. A fate better left unthought about.
