The Best Diet Advice Ever. Seriously.

(Usual caveats apply. Should your metabolism be fucked up or freaky then standard advice doesn't apply to you. Yes, there are exceptions to every rule. Now shoo.)

All always thought the best advice was this.

"The first rule of diet club is...
you do not eat all the pies.
The second rule of diet club is...
you DO NOT eat all the pies."

I'd point out that 'diet'in that title and article is in teh snes of the word that means "composition of habitual food intake", rather than the more popular "temporary restriction of food inorder to lose weight(fat)". It's rather important.

Am I allowed to feel smug having worked this out long ago (and generally been following a very similar scheme ever since)? Suppose not, I mean it's really obvious...

I drink, smoke and walk about everywhere and the only exercise I do is a bit of bend and stretch most days to stop me seizing up like The Tin Man. I will one day die. And so will you. As will all mortals. I only want to shift enough of the gut to make Beloved Stargirl not get squished. Diets: ditch 'em as they only make you fat. Eat right and exercise on the other hand is viable and one day I'll start doing it and not stop out of boredom.
