Predicting the future

Having had a conversation with the manager of Analysis and Design at Standard Life last week, where he said that "3 year plans are feasible, 10 years plans are like juggling jelly", I was amused to bump into this, where a prognosticator looks back at his 1992 predictions and makes some for 2012. I think some of them are on the ball, but most of those aren't adventurous enough - you can already get mobiles that tell you exactly where people are, for instance.
