Spent largely in the company of [livejournal.com profile] zarabee and [livejournal.com profile] greengolux, discussing a wide variety of subjects (on which the highest level of agreement was 'Cartesian Dualism = nonsense'), wandering around the Natural History Museum (most obvious statement from myself 'Blue Wales are really, really big.') and then going to see Tsotsi (which was very good. I'm sure people have complained about the character direction, but I felt that the progression was near-perfect from the very start).

Tired and headachey now, so off to bed. Hope you're all super-spiffy!

I had the same reaction when I saw the blue whale. :) I was very happy to have been able to name most of the 'flying' whales. Yay for the BBC.

Now go to the Tate Modern and the British Museum. And also the Victoria and Albert Museum (for the fantastic sculpture casts and clothes).

Cartesian dualism?

I'm quite happy about that - I'll plot my functions in either y=f(x, z) form *or* r=f(θ, φ) thanks! 'Course, don't mind paramatic or sequential forms either for that matter....

(What do you mean by that in the non mathematical sense of the interpretation is my question :=). Oh, and Tsotsi was great - the name is africaans for thug)

Ahh. I see. Thanks :P. (It's just that the word "Cartesian" sets alarm bells of the mathematical kind ringing...)
