This morning was spent taking

surliminal's cats for their yearly injections. This was followed by a few hours of relaxation and poll posting, before

purelyskindeep mentioned that the place we were going tonight (The Jam House) had a dress code. So instead of going to see The Matador I threw myself out into the baltic weather and onto a few buses to get home and find something suitable to wear.

Which I did:

Anyway, we dropped into Cafe Rouge first, for some very nice food, and myself,

purelyskindeep,

surliminal,

lee_lou2 and

ripperlyn then went onwards to The Jam House, where we listened to a first-class covers band who were clearly too talented to be a covers band, but must have decided that that was where the money was. There was much dancing until 1am, then I was lucky enough to get a night bus to nearly-home, only to discover that the railway bridge was out, leading to a large detour to actually make the last 300m.

Anyway - cheers to the people who made it out tonight, especially

purelyskindeep for having the idea in the first place, I had a jolly good time.

And now to bed.
