I wandered kitchenwards this morning for breakfast, poured the last of the SoyMilk into a bowl, realised there wasn't really enough, and added in some of the normal milk we have.  It seemed to separate slightly, but I wasn't too worried, as I figured I could just stir it all back in.  So i stuck it in the microwave for the normal minute, got it back out, and stared in horror at the appalling mess in the bowl.  "Must have gone off," I thought, and washed it down the sink.

Then I grabbed the rest of the ordinary milk, and started to pour it into the bowl.  And realised we don't have any ordinary milk - but we do have aremarkably similar carton, containing apple juice.

Strangely, no breakfast cereal for _me_ today.

Don't feel bad. I once cracked an egg on the side of a hot pan on the oven, and proceeded to empty the perfectly-good egg contents into the nearby trash can. Ambrose has never let me forget it.

Heh. I once accidentally ate green toast, and had cockroach tea for at least a week. And yet we continue to live! :-)

Heheh... the last time we had dairy-drinking visitors, I carelessly poured myself a glass of water and took a sip only to spew it back out, realizing to my disgust that it wasn't water... they sell milk here in the same kind of jug-containers that water is sold in.

Eeew, we've all done stuff like that - vinegar instead of soy sauce, especially. Did you have work on the third?
