Working in the Window

My father's study has doors made of glass (and two large windows flanking them) that look out directly onto the garden. About 30 feet away from me is the pear tree where my mother feeds the birds and squirrels. About 10 seconds ago a squirrel bounded down towards the glass doors, paused directly in front of me, scratched himself in an incredibly cute manner, and then bounded off down the side of the house. Thank goodness for laptops, that's all I can say.
