So I went to see Constantine with
tisme
eduard_green and
poisonduk - twas amusing and pretty in parts, but suffered from too much exposition in some areas, not enough in others and a sad lack of characters that really hit home. Frankly, Christopher Walken made a better Gabriel and Viggo Mortensen was a better Satan. That was the main problem - lots of pretty special effects, but nothing which really reached out and grabbed me and made me feel anything. Oh well, at least I got to see the ROTS trailer on the big screen...

Date: 2005-03-19 11:10 am (UTC)I somehow ended up liking Constantine. I went into it thinking I'd absolutely loathe it so maybe that was it. One thing though, who was driving the car at the start? The one that y'know...
A pair of obnoxious idiots came in late and had to get past me at that bit, so I was certain I'd missed something (like an explanation).
