No/New Phone

Picked myself up a Nokia 6630 3G monster on the way home.  Told the guy behind the desk "Can't be without my phone on the way home - have to phone my flatmate" and he said they'd delay the activation by 16 hours.  Huzzah! thought I, to be brough up short when a paltry 7 minutes later my phone dropped off the network.  The new phone, obviously, wasn't about to start working for another few hours.

Damn their incompetence!  Damn them to hell!

3G's the newest tech, right? I think there's only one mobi company in the US that'll be using it. Thinking of switching to them.
