andrewduckerJust saw this at the cinema. Same director as Amelie (and City of Lost Children and Delicatessen), who has toned down the cuteness factor, increased the unpleasantness factor (by setting it during WW1) and made something that managed to be harrowing and uplifting at the same time. It's about the little moments that take a huge impersonal event and make them human and personal. Go see it.
