I've mentioned before that banning P2P application was just plain silly - you can write P2P code so trivially that you might as well ban people from owning bricks, as they could be used as a murder tool.

Just to show how easy it is, here's a P2P application in 6 lines of code. Admittedly they're fairly indecepherable to the likes of me, but then I'm not a Perl programmer.

Unix darling - the key to most Perl. one character commands which are ever so powerful. You just need agigantic memory to remember them all, or a preety good book.

Hey, but all the obscurity protects the geek-god status ;-)

For the record, for those that don't know me, I am incredibly against any form of the intense obscurantism so beloved of many 'hardcore' programmers. I'll stop now, or I'll start on one of my rants...
