Due to my PDA deciding to run low on battery power and not wake me up at 7:30 I woke up at 8:30, thus achieving 9 hours sleep for the first time in months.  I arrived at work _not_ hating the entire universe and was entirely compos mentis for the remainder of the day.

Aha!  I thought, all I have to do is sleep in slightly once a week and I'm fine!

The number of spelling mistakes I've had to correct this evening, however, indicate that in fact I'm not caught up on sleep at all, just slightly less underslept.

However, I have _nothing_ I have to do for the entire weekend, a state I haven't been in for over a year.  I do have a dog, which indicates certain responsibilities, but I intend to discharge them by lying in the park and climbing Arthur's Seat, both of which I intend in a very relaxed fashion.
