I said the n-word in jest in front of a group of close friends. It was a Samuel L Jackson quote, I used the slant that ends in "ga" and I am the kind of person that can get away with making jokes about raping and eating babies and make people laugh with it (in context people, IN CONTEXT).

They all stared at me as if I'd suddenly grown a second, and phenomenonally racist, head.

I have "limits" and it's with a word used innofensively by a cultural subset, that can be happily littered across (admittedly 18 certificated) Hollywood movies, disguised as friendly banter.

I understand, but I am also _confounded_.
