Home again, home again

Woken by quiet, distant conversation, Nathan's mother Penny arrived and I wandered vaugely as tidying occurred around me - I was politely rebuffed whenever I tried to help, and eventually gravitated kitchenwards, where I made bacon repeatedly until I was shuffled off by Susie's sister Natalie, who then fed the remaining two and a half thousand.

Pleasant conversation ensued, with dog toys being thrown about until Puppy collapsed into sleep.

Nathan, Susie, Natalie and Penny are now off to ride horses, Niri's rolling cigarettes and Rob's loading up the car. Soon we'll leap off into the cold November half-light and beign our seven and a half hour trip back to Scotland.

Next time I'm flying.
