The thing about bites is interesting, because cats are known to be more aggressive and to bite depressed people and sick cats (because the approved and considerate cat thing to do if you might die is to get yourself away from the home nest so that your dying or dead body doesn't attract predators - so why is your sad sick ass still hanging round here?).

Book covers change.
I wonder how soon they could have changed them and what difference it would have made to eligibility if some covers were AI and some where OK ?
Perhaps they considered that the publicity from a technical disqualification was as good as that from winning ?
