We had a nice day on the beach in North Berwick. A few of Sophia's old nursery friends, getting back together, with a few siblings thrown in. They got on like it wasn't mostly a year since they last saw each other, and they had a ball digging holes, wading through seaweed and climbing on rocks. The weather was just as fabulous as it looks here.

Is that a child up on the rock? It looks like it must be but my brain can't parse it. Their legs seem too short and at the wrong angle for being so close to the edge. Optical illusion, probably. It does look like a lovely place to climb around and explore.

You're only seeing the legs down to just above the knee, as they're slightly back from the edge, and their lower leg is behind some rock.

I thought it must be something like that but still can't see how. I'll take your word for it :)

He's also wearing shorts, so you can only see a tiny amount of skin on his legs.

My daughter is now 22 and still meets up with a 2 of her bffs she met in nursery school (aka toddler room at daycare) and ocassionally with their siblings as well.

It amazes me the girls have stayed friends for so long

Yeah, it's a shame that she doesn't go to the same school as them (all of them live in different catchments).
But she'll join at least one of them again when she goes to high school.

All of them went to different elementary and highschools and now live 45 to 90 minutes away from each other.
