1. An article I read (possibly linked to by you) revealed these two men as disciples of Kook and Kahane, both of whom were considered beyond the limits of civilized discourse in their day. Kahane was considered a terrorist, banned from sitting in the Knesset, etc. That discourse has shifted so that these guys now run the government is the worst thing that could have happened to the Israeli polity.
