I am less than convinced by the stats in that third link, particularly that the number of people engaged in "intimacy" is almost precisely identical to the number engaged in warfare. That seems a bit too on the nose. (Captured a screenshot in which they were 6,832,153 and 6,832,152 respectively.)

If you read the "how is this calculated?" https://humans.maxcomperatore.com/how.html, you will see it is a simulation, not statistics.

Sure, but it would be a more interesting simulation if it didn't seem so wildly off-base. I mean, as I write this (mid-afternoon Eastern Time, very much in the middle of the workday in North America), it shows about nine million people in "Paid Work", which surely must be a pretty extreme underestimate...
