I'm married to a Stirling native and although I'm aware of the oddnesses of some phrases, I think he is of my mixed Kent/West Midlands/northeastern accent and we've picked stuff up off each other over the years.

Strangely enough, I use 'aye' all the time and he never does. While I say 'gel' and he says 'ge-rrrl'
