#4. The "Blue Labor" part is impressive. But how is the article so focused on Trump? Theoretically, who would care?

I really don't know. In the UK he's terribly unpopular.

There's a long history of parts of the Labour movement being uninterested in or antithical to socially progressive platforms. I don't think it was new under Miliband. It goes right back to the very start of the movement.
