*waves from the childless cat lady corner*

It's nice here. Far away from strange right-wing idiots.

Oh yes, sadly. But I try to metaphorically stay in a different corner.

So far as I know, morays fail at purring.

That's amazing. I never would have imagined a moray eel behaving like that.

3. Low-hanging wires are already a safety hazard for people driving, motorbiking, or bicycling in warzones. The military vehicles I saw at a defence conference a few years ago all had notched bars intended to sever wires. They might need to create something similar for bicycles (although the bike and rider might not have enough inertia to sever a wire or fiber optic cable, it'd at least keep it from cutting into the bicyclist's throat).

We use fiber optics at work. Glass fiber is stronger than fishing line, and that's enough to seriously injure a cyclist. After a drone attack, you'd have kilometers of nearly-invisible threads draped across roads and paths, held up off the ground by shrubbery and nearby power lines.

6: WTF indeed. I'm not "offended" that he insulted me, I'm angry and scared that he wants to discriminate against me for not having children, along with supporting policies that would make it scary to be pregnant.

There are a lot of things the government could be doing to make life easier for parents--things like free meals for all schoolchildren, which the Republicans attacked Walz for signing.

I am very glad that racist woman was arrested. I hope that every child is withdrawn from her 'care', not just the Somali and Bangladeshi ones but every single one. She is actively harming every single one.
