1) I can't follow this. "The reality of predstrogen's suspension was not accurately conveyed" - so reading the CEO's statement wouldn't tell me what's going on, even if I could read his statement, because it's only accessible to Tumblr members.

2) I can't follow this either. It jumps back and forth between pro- and anti-Begum positions about five times in the first three paragraphs, leaving the uninformed (so what was the Appeal Court ruling?) reader totally bewildered, before disappearing behind a paywall. I know that the jumping back and forth is only apparent; he's just trying to balance competing factors before expressing a final judgment, but it's expressed in such a convoluted manner as to be garbled. From what little I know of Jacob Rees-Mogg, this would be a typical manner of discourse for him.

3) You know that the standard workweek used to be six days? Protests led to the 40-hour week and everyone was happier. Clearly, another step in the same direction also works.
"Instead, employees work a variety of schedules depending on individual and team needs." I'm reminded of the informal arrangements at offices I've worked at for how to cover lunch hours. I prefer an early lunch, so I'd volunteer to be back by 12.30 so everyone else who preferred a later lunch could go out.

5) Notice not only the audience reactions, but the audience participation. There'd have to be actors there too. Reminds me of hucksters padding their customer audience with shills.

1) I've read the details of what happened on Wikipedia and what a trainwreck. Mullenweg went from bad to worse. It's very brave of the staff to speak up against him. I hope he won't retaliate and go back to his sabbatical.

Rees-Mogg is 54 and not a minister. He won't be a minister again under Sunak -- he was a Truss supporter. The Tories will be out within 12 months, so in opposition for 4-5 years, by which time he'll be 58-59, which is too old to be Tory party leader this century.

So his actual political career is effectively over.

(He might retain his seat in the commons -- his constituency had a stonking Tory majority in previous elections -- but it's being re-boundaried and everything is up in the air. If there's a 20 point swing to Labour he could well lose his seat. If there's a tactical agreement between Labour and the LibDems he will lose his seat.)

Some Tory grandees find this position liberating: as with Michael Howard before him, he's now willing to tell the truth (as he sees it) rather than pandering to the knuckle-dragging Tory base.
