The utility is trying to install a battery facility here to help with peak demand, but it's not scheduled to even start construction till next year because the community is so awful about objecting to everything that might mean removing a tree. We have trees. So many. (And then the wingnuts weigh in with some revolutionary theoretical solution that requires an entirely different setup and a new economy.)
