Date: 2023-12-25 01:46 am (UTC)4) I hadn't noticed this, but it sounds bad. However, to my mind a criticism of Peter Jackson's Beatles documentary ought to begin with the failure to trim more of the endless sitting around doing nothing and the even more endless complaining about how they're sitting around doing nothing. It was so tedious I couldn't get through part one, and I'm amazed the Beatles got through it.
6) I haven't seen the kind of video this guy is complaining about, but I have seen videos that sound like the kind he made (only not so lengthy). Most of them are critiques of movies, often brilliantly thoughtful and well-expressed; and the visuals are mostly clips from the relevant film: lifted, of course, but you can't say they're irrelevant.
