4. I'm sad that lots of kids don't get to free range wander, play, explore the way I did growing up. I'm glad that there are some good alternatives in the world of games, that let them have at least some of that experience. Also total kudos to the little girl in saying "sod the quests and monster killing, I wanna do science and explore!" We could all do with a bit more of that and less of the obsessive goal-chasing in our lives, I'm sure.

But, for my own entertainment, you'll still more likely find me outside, exploring the physical world, or trying to make or fix or grow things. And often fucking it up and getting hurt for real. But I've had 48 ish years of practice at that... :-).
