I maintain that Microsoft do not understand the difference between 'Lookup' and 'Search'.

Unless and until they do, Bing and their shiny AI will forever have the glistening repellence of using MSDN 'search' to find information in Microsoft's documentation...

... A task best left to Google, for Microsoft's Bing-driven 'search' can only look up information that you can name with the exact keywords, and know how to place in context with a great deal of prior knowledge.

You can't 'discover' anything with Bing, you're not 'exploring', you're either sailing the Atlantic with an up-to-date map and a name and a location for New York...

...Or a hapless not-quite-Columbus, told by Bing that the route to the Spice Islands lies by sailing West from Lisbon, and 'successfully' arriving at Malabar while never encountering the Americas and remaining unaware that they existed.

Ah. Yes. I could not put my finger on why Bing was so much less useful* but you have.

*Even to an old database geek like me, who generally will think in keywords
