Date: 2022-04-16 10:15 pm (UTC)probably not the PC or popular thing to say, but I'd be ok if this custom was revived. I remember my parents having a double twin bed and always wondered about it when I was younger, but makes sense in this light.
on the flip side, my littles always somehow seem to find a way to make it into my bed at night and it's hard on both of us dissuading them at 3AM.

(Though to this very day at 75, if I stay over, my mother will STILL wake up if I do, even in a seperate room!)
