Over the last month the number of cases per day has stayed resolutely around 2,500 (about 45/100k), hospital admissions has varied only slightly from 90 per day, and the only good news is that the number of daily deaths has halved from 20 to 10.
It's true that this is a vast improvement from the massive peak that came just before it, but it would be nice if the case count would stop hanging about and actually *drop*.

Incidentally, I have no idea why deaths have halved in the last two weeks. The only thing that's changed there is that the booster shots have come in, and it seems unlikely that they'd be having that much of an effect so soon.
I do wonder where this is going next...
