I am rather unconvinced about the 'love languages' thing. Several of these behaviours seem quite unexceptional to me. Being alone together is something that many long-married couples do; "unconventional" gift-giving is something that parents and children (and grandparents and grandchildren) do a lot, not to mention arty and nature-loving types; 'infodumping' is very common when people have a new enthusiasm or interest; being hugged in culturally-appropriate ways when distressed is comforting for most people. How is any of this unusual?

Completely agree with this, and it also seems like a massive generalisation across a diverse set of people.

I had the Janssen shot...It had a pretty rough reaction starting at about the 24 hour mark - fever, chills, general "blah feeling"- but I survived to tell the tale.
