Just what do you suppose the person skeptical of the sheer concept of male privilege was thinking? What could he (I'm sure it's a he) have thought that male privilege would be? Preferential seating at sporting events? More men's lavatories than women's? (Hey, that last one's real.)

I have most frequently experienced men asserting there's no male privilege when they have a huge chip on their shoulder about personal failure or just lack of the success they expected, so obviously they didn't have any privilege.
