To be fair, according to the article, apparently these gun enthusiast idiots say they hate alt-right MAGA-type gun enthusiast idiots, which was my first assumption. I don't know if that's true, this seems like exactly the sort of safety-ignoring trolling which typically harms a lot of other people's safety too. But it doesn't explicitly say they've harmed anyone other than themselves and I don't want to go check out the site to make sure[1]. But, still, I think it's really stupid.

There's also something unspoken which I realize I'm missing. My instinct would be to never point a pistol at myself, which I stand by. But if I DID, I wouldn't think "well, maybe if I sort of aim it at my balls but not into the abdomen, I'll get the macho credit with less risk of actually killing myself if something goes wrong". But I think most people WOULD think that, which is actually a lot more sensible. So maybe I'm the idiot.
