Fairly sure "The Corvid and The Rona" is an old English folk song.

An emergency alert system might make sense, but it was obvious people would ignore the warnings. They didn't have hourly TV bulletins either I didn't think :(

Yeah, me too. I guess I knew texts were being sent out, I'm not sure of the difference between that and an alert system.

I guess that these texts came out a day later so no good for timely alerts? I don't know what the difference is though, if each carrier does it manually or something?
