Fantastic day at the beach with Hugh, Meredith, Hal, Phil (and their two sprogelts Alex and Cameron) and Joe. Was very hot, wandered up and down the beach, waded in up to my knees (water very cold) and generally enjoyed the hell out of myself.
Trip back marred by mad arguing people and screaming kids, but followed immediately by Pirates of the Carribean, which was most excellent. The only real downside to it being the itching in my shoulders which started halfway through and can't reasonably be blamed on the film.
Came home to discover that the skin lotion is in London with Erin.
Will now go to bed with madly affectionate cat and try to sleep off sunburn.

I hope Denver is either declawed or gentle.
