Date: 2019-09-11 01:03 pm (UTC)Well Blanche Gardin I think caused a bit of a stir, but not massively. She's also been massively acclaimed. I can't find articles in English that explain her. Her stand-up show is hilarious. By contrast, I watched episode 1 of Fleabag and my reaction was 'meh'. But there's a definite similarity in the frankness.

Date: 2019-09-11 02:26 pm (UTC)I can report that this bit is inaccurate. #moncochon sounds cute. The real hashtag is #balancetonporc which is a more violent and crude phrasing I should say and meant to be pejorative.
And some people were named. I'm confused. But then we have the Polanski precedent and I have no words for the amount of support he got.
