Whoa, clickbaity title I totally fell for! It's electromagnetic radiation, and specifically radio frequency. That's a lot more understandable, particularly given the vagaries of RF testing. This is, technically, radiation, but in nontechnical usage 'radiation' almost always means 'ionising radiation', except when people are scaremongering.
