I looked up the Edinburgh Seven - they're all in Wikipedia - and found that five eventually got their medical degrees from more civilized places like Paris or Dublin, and returned to Britain to practice. The other two dropped their training for personal reasons, but remained supportive of women's medical education, one of them becoming, IIRC, a medical administrator.

The 'Agents of Sleep' commercial was fantastic! If even half the ads were made this charmingly & well, I would actually bother to watch them.
