I liked the satirical essay on the electabillity of women very much but I did find myself thinking "but they were 3 million more votes in the wrong bloody places" which is also what happened to Al Gore.

Indeed. Although if I'm honest, it's clear they ARE venerating the flag. Like, the rules they're following ("use it all the time everywhere", "no burning, ever") don't match up to the official rules much at all. And there's definitely times when putting it on underwear is not respectful in the way you want to be respectful.

But really, that's just showing that if they SAY they're following the flag code, they're misunderstanding themselves. But overall, the problem is that they ARE venerating the flag -- way too much :(

My browser is complaining that I was trying to make an insecure connection. A pity, seeing as the content is probably going to be good for my mental and political health once I'm able to read it.

Similar errors in Firefox and Chrome on desktop, but it seems to be okay in Opera.
